Hi, my name is Hannah Williams! I’m a nonbinary artist currently living and working in the Chicagoland area.

I graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2020, which doesn’t have majors, but my focus for all four years was animation! I’m incredibly passionate about character design, prop design and storytelling, and have a background in writing in addition to my drawing skills. I’m especially drawn to simple, flat, shape-based designs, and love the UPA era of animation, but I can adapt my style well and like trying new things. My personal work often involves robots, which are just fun to draw, and hospitals, drawing from my experiences as a chronically ill kid. (Sometimes I even draw robots in the hospital!)

When I’m not working , you can usually find me curled up at home rereading Flatland, my favorite book, playing with my cats, Clementine and Sarabi, playing RPGs and other story-based games, writing, or making resin crafts.

My past credits include a character design internship for Beaker Studios in Dallas, working remotely from Chicago on their short film, Bubbles, and work as the Lead Artist and Character Designer on Concrete Rose, a game developed by Jarory de Jesus that is currently suspended. More info on that project can be found here!

I’d love the opportunity to work for you! My strengths lie in Character Design, Prop Design, Illustration and Color Design. Feel free to shoot me an email!
